Sanguié Academic Excellence: The Most Deserving Rewarded

The province of Sanguié honored its primary and secondary champions on Saturday, October 5, 2024, under the patronage of Minister of State Bassolma Bazié, noted the AIB.The results of the school exams for the 2023-2024 school year in Sanguié were good. The province is ranked 2nd out of 4 in the Centre-Ouest region for the CEP, with a success rate of 76.35%; 1st for the BEPC with a 47.70% success rate; and 3rd for the baccalaureate with a 52.48% success rate.It should be noted that these rates are significantly better than those of the previous session. Even at the preschool and non-formal level, a clear improvement has been recorded, both in access and in the quality of services.It is to mark this leap forward, both in primary and secondary education, that the day of excellence was organized.What could be more logical than rewarding deserving students and teachers? The partner establishments and structures (APE, AME, CEEP) which also distinguished themselves were not left out.In fact, the various w inners were showered with gifts in kind and in cash. These included tablets, computers, reams of paper, bicycles, school kits, desks, chairs and pots.As for cash rewards, while students received scholarships ranging from 15,000 F to 50,000 F, teachers were delighted with bonuses of 100,000 F, not forgetting the partner establishments and structures which received sums of between 100,000 F and 300,000 F.The game was worth the candle, in the opinion of the High Commissioner of the province, Talari Germaine Ouoba, president of the organizing committee.She was full of praise for the people of goodwill who, through their support, enabled this day to keep its promises.The spokesperson for the sponsors, Dr. Joseph Bationo, rightly praised and congratulated the efforts made by the education stakeholders in the province.He also urged his godchildren to remain role models and persevere in their efforts, so that their skills and abilities will later serve the nation.For the day's boss, Minister of State Bass olma Bazié, this ceremony is in line with the government's vision, which is to make the education system the crucible of sure human values ????for the development of the country.He also praised the relevance of the theme of this edition: "The promotion of excellence in the province of Sanguié: an imperative for resilient human capital."All in all, it is the two provincial directors in charge of education, Bapian Yo and Yameogo, who are proud and rejoice in more ways than one.Source: Burkina Information Agency
