Komsilga: The organizing committee of the 8th edition of the International Exhibition of Agriculture, Environment and Livestock (SIAEL), to be held from December 22 to 28, 2026, in Komsilga, Kadiogo province, has reached out to the Ministry of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training for support. The committee met with Minister Doctor Boubacar Savadogo to discuss preparations for the fair and to request assistance in organizing a day focused on professional training and promoting land-related careers.According to Burkina Information Agency, the national organizing president, Issouf Traoré, highlighted the significance of these events in showcasing training and professional integration opportunities in rural sectors. Traoré emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to engage youth in agricultural, environmental, and pastoral occupations.In response, Minister Boubacar Savadogo expressed his support for the initiative and committed to providing technicians and specialized managers to assist in defining themes and implementing vocational training activities at the fair. The theme for the 2026 edition is "Issues, challenges and perspectives of agricultural, animal and fisheries production policy."The committee also acknowledged the support received during the Regional Exhibition in Ouahigouya last May, presenting a certificate of recognition to the Minister as a token of gratitude.
