Sissili: The youth of Goyarro (Bissiou), a locality in the commune of Biéha, province of Sissili, Nando region, gathered on Saturday, July 19, 2025, to work on improving a road crossing a lowland area that connects their village to Latian. This road often becomes difficult to navigate during the winter, affecting travel between the two towns.According to Burkina Information Agency, the young people of Goyarro (Bissiou) took the initiative to address this challenge. Equipped with shovels, picks, sand, and stones, they focused on filling the most problematic parts of the lowland, aiming to facilitate traffic and reduce the isolation of their area.Elisée Batiga Nacro, a resident of Goyarro (Bissiou), expressed satisfaction with the youth's efforts, highlighting the importance of self-driven development before seeking external assistance. The operation also saw contributions from passersby on motorcycles, tricycles, and cars, who supported the community action in various ways.This initiative aligns with the 'Faso Mêbo' concept, which emphasizes local commitment to development. Through their efforts, the youth of Goyarro (Bissiou) have shown that determination can lead to tangible solutions for everyday challenges faced by their community.
