Oubritenga: SONATUR satisfied with the progress of development work at its Ziniar© site: The Director General of the National Urban Land Development Company (SONATUR), Boureima Ouattara, along with a large delegation, reported a satisfactory completion rate of the development and servicing works at the Ziniar© site.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Boureima Ouattara emphasised the company's commitment to the development and servicing of the site prior to the start of real estate projects. The visit aimed to assess the progress, level, and quality of the works promised to buyers. Despite encountering some difficulties, including a delay from an initial contractor, Ouattara expressed satisfaction with the work executed by the ECW company, which took over the project.
Ouattara lauded ECW for the quality of its work and noted that the company has pledged to deliver the project in the coming months. The company's technical manager, Zongo Lucien Zyed, confirmed that the SONATUR site is slated for completion within two months, with efforts underway to potentially finish earlier. Zyed assured that the work aligns with the standards expected by SONATUR.
The development project spans 60 hectares and includes sanitation, road development, electrification, drinking water supply, concession demarcation, and tree planting. Technicians overseeing the project reported a 59% completion rate, despite having consumed 80% of the scheduled time. They remain optimistic that the delays will not impact the planned delivery date.
The Ziniar© site was marketed by SONATUR between 2023 and 2024, with a commitment to prepare the site before buyers began developing their plots.
