Sourou: The highest authorities have upgraded the technical platform of the Medical Center with Surgical Antenna (CMA) of Tougan, with a latest generation mobile digital radiography device equipped with artificial intelligence allowing to obtain precise and rapid images for an optimal diagnosis, announced Friday the said CMA on its Facebook page.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this high-performance equipment is capable of taking pictures of all parts of the body, including the skull, thorax, upper and lower limbs, spine, and abdomen. It offers high-quality images that are easy to interpret and integrates artificial intelligence to facilitate analysis, particularly at the pulmonary level, as stated by the District Chief Medical Officer (MCD), Dr. J©r´me Nikiema.
Dr. Nikiema further explained that the new device allows practitioners to confirm their clinical diagnoses, thereby improving the quality of care provided. The introduction of this advanced technology into the CMA is a significant development in enhancing the center's diagnostic capabilities.
The authorities expressed satisfaction in equipping the CMA with a latest-generation X-ray machine that includes artificial intelligence, marking a step forward in medical technology and care provision in the region.
