Tougan: The Sourou province announced the results of the first round of the 2025 Baccalaureate session, revealing that 281 candidates successfully obtained their diplomas. Out of the 679 candidates who presented themselves for the examination, these results were shared on Thursday in Tougan, Sourou.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the candidates were split between two series, A and D. From these, 281 candidates were admitted, comprising 144 boys and 137 girls. The overall success rate stood at 41.38%, with series A achieving a success rate of 58.50% and series D reaching 22.19%.
Additionally, 184 candidates, including 76 boys and 108 girls, have been qualified for the second round, which is scheduled for Monday, July 7, 2025. It was also noted that 11 candidates were absent across all three juries hosted by the Sourou province.
