Stock market starts week on positive note

Tunis: The stock market commenced the week on a positive note. The benchmark index was up by 0.11% to 9841.47 points, with a modest trading volume of TND 2.7 million, according to broker Tunisie Valeurs.ESSOUKNA shares rose by 4.2% to TND 1.730 in light trading.SMART Tunisie shares were up by 3.1% to TND 16.400, with trading worth TND 22,000.Conversely, BTE shares dropped by 2.7% to TND 3.590 with no trading.SFBT shares declined by 1.6% to TND 12.500, with a small trading volume of TND 17,000.BNA shares fell by 0.61% to TND 8.350, with trading worth TND 935,000.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
