Mouhoun: The President of the special delegation (PDS) of Bondoukuy, Lazare Bado, chaired a consultation meeting with local forces to define urgent measures to restore mobility and strengthen security on the Tankuy-Dampan section, a vital axis for the economic and social activities of the commune.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting, held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, aimed to address the deteriorating conditions of the Tankuy-Dampan route that have been causing significant challenges for traffic and escalating the risk of accidents. The poor state of the road has been adversely affecting trade and social interactions among local populations.
Participants of the meeting emphasized the immediate need to undertake work to improve traffic flow and enhance user safety. The decisions from the meeting included mobilizing two resource persons per district in collaboration with the Village Development Councils (CVD). A monitoring and coordination committee will be established, and a schedule for the execution of works of community interest will be created.
Lazare Bado expressed his gratitude to the participants for their civic engagement and reaffirmed the commitment of the municipality to collaborate with local forces to sustainably improve the living conditions of the population.
