Tannounyan: Health Minister Listens to Healthcare Workers

Tannounyan: The Minister of Health, Dr. Robert Kargougou, during a visit to the Tannounyan region on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13, 2025, spoke with the healthcare staff of Niangoloko and Sideradougou to understand their concerns and provide them with answers. Health Minister Dr. Robert Kargougou met with health workers in Niangoloko and Sideradougou. While in the Tannounyan region as part of the free distribution campaign for long-lasting insecticide-treated mosquito nets (LLINs), he had the opportunity to meet and interact with healthcare workers in the Banfora and Mangodara health districts.

According to Burkina Information Agency, in Niangoloko, on Saturday, July 12, just like in Sideradougou the following Sunday, the head of the health department listened attentively to these workers before congratulating them on their daily work to satisfy the population. The workers' concerns included, among other things, issues related to career management, assignments, professional exams, and human resource problems.

The Minister, accompanied by the Governor of the Tannounyan region and the Regional Health Director, provided satisfactory answers to all the concerns raised by health workers. He immediately instructed those responsible for career issues to find appropriate solutions.

Dr. Kargougou reassured the healthcare workers by stating, "I assure you that we will do everything in our power to prevent these kinds of problems from occurring in your careers. We will also do everything in our power to make progress."
