The Dima of Zoungrantenga Contributes 5 Tons of Cement to Faso Mªbo Initiative

Tenkodogo: His Majesty Naaba Guigmpol©, King of Tenkodogo, presented a donation of 5 tons of cement, vests, and wheelbarrows to the Faso Mªbo brigade on Friday. The award ceremony took place in the royal courtyard, in the presence of the president of the special delegation of Tenkodogo, Mr. Sami B©renger Poda, and the presidency's mission officer for the Nakamb© region, Mr. Adaman Kambon©.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this donation is part of the participation of traditional authorities in the Faso Mªbo Presidential Initiative, which aims to improve the living environment in the communes of Burkina Faso. By making this equipment available to the Faso Mªbo brigade, based in Tenkodogo, the Dima of Zoungrantenga intends to contribute to the completion of the beautification work underway in the town.

The King's intervention responds to a call by the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, urging all Burkinab¨ to support local development efforts. The brigade, composed of young volunteers, is engaged in several projects related to sanitation and the improvement of the urban environment.

The president of the special delegation of the commune of Tenkodogo, Sami B©renger Poda, welcomed Dima's gesture, highlighting the significance of such an initiative. "It is with great gratitude and a renewed sense of confidence that we welcome this initiative. When an authority of this stature makes such a gesture, it inspires confidence. It is also a call to all responsible people in our community: everyone can, at their own level, make their contribution."

He further elaborated on the impact of the donation, stating, "This morning, we received 5 tons of cement, wheelbarrows, and life jackets to support the ongoing work on the site. This may seem modest, but it's a valuable contribution. The young people are already mobilized on the site, and this contribution will strengthen their commitment and accelerate the work."

Mr. Poda expressed gratitude to the King, recognizing the material and moral impact of the donation. In his speech, the Dima of Zoungrantenga invited the Burkinabe to get involved in the dynamics triggered by the Faso Mªbo initiative. He quoted a local adage, "If warba is danced on a plate, let everyone put their foot in it," thus calling on every citizen to contribute to national development efforts.
