The Burkinabe Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean Marie Karamoko Traoré expressed Monday the availability of his department to support the new Belgian ambassador to Burkina, Erwin De Wandel for the strengthening of Burkina-Belgium cooperation.The head of Burkinabe diplomacy wished Erwin De Wandel a welcome and a fruitful mission, who came to give him a copy of his accreditation as the new ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Burkina.Minister Traoré expressed to his host his availability and that of his ministry to work with the team of the Belgian embassy with a view to strengthening cooperation between Burkina Faso and the Kingdom of Belgium for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.The Kingdom of Belgium's cooperation with Burkina Faso remains dynamic and is supported in particular by the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel).Last March, the two countries signed a four-year cooperation programme with a budget of more than 22 billion FCFA.However, Belgian diplomacy is often confused with gen eral European diplomacy and that of the French Republic, which is considered neocolonialist.Source: Burkina Information Agency
