The yellow jersey of the Tour du Faso, Moroccan El Kouradji Mohcine said Tuesday in Banfora at the AIB that the competition is tough but the Atlas Lions cyclists are ready to take up the challenge until the end of the race."The Tour is very difficult but my team is very strong this year," said Moroccan sprinter and current holder of the most coveted yellow jersey El Kouradji Mohcine before explaining the strategy implemented in this 5th stage for victory. "I tried to control the race today. I launched my teammate, the green jersey Adil Arbaoui to go and get some bonuses before the final work at the finish in Banfora. At the first left turn before the finish line it was complicated but thanks to God I was able to overcome that to come and get the stage victory."Very enduring, the Moroccan Atlas Lions say they overcame difficulties for the final consecration in the city of the black peasant. "There was a lot of difficulty in this 5th stage (with the state of the road (editor's note), so with a lot of fati gue."Mohcine and his teammates are therefore preparing for tomorrow's Bobo criterium so as not to compromise the two most sought-after jerseys of the race. "Tomorrow is the closed circuit and it is still difficult. But the way we controlled the race today will continue with my teammates to protect the gains."For him, "Morocco this year is the yellow jersey or nothing", but we will have to watch out for teams like Cameroon, Burkina Faso and even the European teams."Burkina has three teams that attack a lot in the race. So we have difficulties in the first kilometers. But there is also Cameroon who is very strong without forgetting the Russians and the Dutch," he concluded.Wednesday's 6th stage is a 10.7km criterium to be covered 10 times in the arteries of Bobo-Dioulasso, for a total distance of 107km.
