Loroum: The Secretary General of the Loroum province, David Ayoro, officially installed three new provincial directors on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in Titao. According to Burkina Information Agency, the installation ceremony marked a significant transition for the province's leadership in these critical sectors. Abdoul Karim Sawadogo takes over from Augustin Sama, who served as the Youth and Continuing Education Advisor for nearly nine years before moving to Passor© province for a similar role. Sawadogo emphasized the importance of youth involvement in community development, urging young people to participate in actions that support the province's growth.
In the Sports and Leisure sector, Saidou Ouango, previously serving in an interim capacity, has been confirmed as the new director. During the ceremony, Ouango expressed his ambition to establish both a women's football team and a provincial football team, addressing a long-standing gap in the province's sports infrastructure.
For the Water and Sanitation directorate, Sanna Salif Conseiga, a senior environmental technician, now leads after the position remained vacant for almost four years. Conseiga highlighted his commitment to assessing and improving the province's water infrastructure to ensure better access to drinking water for residents.
