Tialgo: The village of Tialgo in the municipality of Tenado vibrated on Saturday to the rhythm of the 10th edition of the celebration of academic excellence, bringing together sons, daughters and nationals to honor the achievements of primary and secondary schools.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this anniversary edition witnessed a strong mobilization of the village's partners and friends, all united to recognize the merit of those involved in education. More than 150 primary and secondary school winners were rewarded with school kits, bicycles, and bags, while one deserving teacher received a tablet.
The prestigious 'Okouli Joseph' prize was awarded this year to the Tialgo D school. The commitment and dedication of the former school teachers were also recognized with certificates of recognition.
The ceremony was attended by local authorities, including the chairman of the commune's special delegation, Asm¨de Dianda, and the head of the basic education district, Lassina Yelemou. The alumni expressed their deep gratitude to the friends and partners of the village for their unwavering support, as well as to the various educational stakeholders for the work accomplished.
