The Association for the Development of Kouloho (ADKO), organized its day of academic excellence in primary school, on Sunday, September 8, 2024 in the said village. It was on the occasion of the 48 hours of the nationals of Kouloho.The village of Kouloho in the commune of Founzan, Tuy province, awarded its best primary school students and teachers on the occasion of the 2024 edition of the 48 hours of the nationals of the said village. The award ceremony took place on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the Young Farmers Training Center (CFJA) of the village. The results of the 2023-2024 school year made it possible to reward a total of 30 students. They each received a school kit consisting of a bag and school supplies. In addition, Wébalon Lamy and Aser Evelyne Neya, the two best CM2 students from schools A and B, who respectively obtained an average of 8.16 and 8.76, each received a new bicycle. Four (4) teachers and the two (2) schools in the village also saw their merits rewarded. And certificates of recogni tion were awarded to at least 10 resource persons in the village for their actions and their commitment to the development of Kouloho.For the president of the Association for the Development of Kouloho (ADKO), André Daourou, the organization of the day of excellence is one of the strong actions reflecting the main objective of the ADKO to promote solidarity, social well-being and the development of the village. According to him, it was in 2015 that the activities of the association began with the rewarding of the best students and teachers of the village in order to create a healthy emulation among young people. On behalf of the daughters and sons of Kouloho, he thanked the authorities as well as all the guests who took part in the ceremony. The sponsor of the event, Kanou Gnoumou expressed his joy at having contributed to encouraging his young brothers. He congratulated the winners for their honorable results and thanked the teachers who sacrifice themselves to transmit knowledge to the students.The Secr etary General of the Founzan Town Hall, Lassané Kiemdé, who represented the President of the special communal delegation, praised the high sense of unity that brought together the daughters and sons of Kouloho and hoped that this would continue and reach all the villages of the Founzan commune.
