Visuals and Podcasts: AIB Teams Ready to Take on the Challenge

Ouagadougou: The training session for journalists and correspondents of the Burkina Faso Information Agency (AIB) on visual design and podcast production ended Friday. At the end of the workshop, participants pledged to put the skills they learned into practice and translate them into concrete actions on the ground.

According to Burkina Information Agency, correspondent for Tuy, Babou €š¬…¡¬°ric Bazi©, this training comes at the right time, as it will allow the Agency's journalists to improve the content of their productions. It will also contribute to innovating approaches, in order to offer readers and subscribers content in line with current realities, he specified.

"This training is a first for this type of content, and we assure you of our commitment to applying it in the field," said the participants' representative, Abdoul Salam Ouarma, during the closing ceremony. He also reassured the Director General of the AIB about the expected improvement in the content broadcast on the Agency's various platforms. Mr. Ouarma also expressed his gratitude to the trainers, who were able to combine theory and practice to achieve concrete results.

Mr. Ouarma further added, "Visual design and podcast production are practical skills, and we believe that each of us will be able to showcase our region through these new media." He also made recommendations, including the continuation of ongoing training and the strengthening of technical equipment.

For her part, the Director General of AIB, Ms. S©raphine Som©/Millogo, welcomed the achievement of the set objectives, emphasizing that the participants now master the tools for creating visuals and producing podcasts. She urged journalists at headquarters and regional correspondents to systematically integrate these new tools into their daily productions, and to offer original content to strengthen the attractiveness of AIB platforms.
