Yatenga: The province of Yatenga recorded an impressive success rate of 87.98% in the Primary School Certificate for the 2025 school year, bringing great satisfaction to Salam Ouédraogo, the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education of Yatenga (DPEPPNF).According to Burkina Information Agency, the year concluded with overall satisfaction across all 17 basic education districts in Yatenga. The success rate for the Primary School Certificate and sixth-grade entrance exams stood at 87.98%, a significant increase from last year's rate of 79.94%. Out of 9,524 candidates who sat for the 2025 CEP exam, 8,322 were successful, including a noteworthy 4,401 girls. Notably, the relocated basic education districts of Koumbri and Thiou achieved perfect success rates of 100%.Salam Ouédraogo, the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education in Yatenga, attributed this success to the commitment, resilience, and sacrifice demonstrated by teachers, supervisors, parents, and st udents. He praised the goodwill exhibited throughout the school year and credited several successful activities for the positive results.Ouédraogo also extended his gratitude to the defense and security forces, as well as the volunteers for the defense of the homeland, who played a crucial role in reopening several educational structures. He expressed hope for the return of peace to the region, emphasizing the importance of continuing efforts to contribute positively to the country's history.
