The Muslim faithful of the city of Kango celebrated Mouloud 2024, marking the birth of the prophet Mohamed (PSL), on the night of September 14 to 15, 2024. A celebration placed under the sign of social cohesion and living together for the return of peace to Burkina Faso.It was through the reading of the Holy Quran followed by invocations for security and the return of peace to Burkina Faso that the Muslim faithful commemorated the birth of the Prophet Mohamed (PSL) in the city of Naaba Kango.Coming from all corners of the city, men, women and children of the Muslim community kept vigil through implorations and prayers.The goal was for God, the Almighty, to bring peace to the land of upright men. At the mosque in sector 3 of Ouahigouya, it was Imam Cheick Adama Ouédraogo who led the ceremony.For Cheick Adama Ouédraogo, "the celebration of Mouloud reminds us of the birth of the Prophet. It is an opportunity for Muslim faithful to draw inspiration from the exemplary life of the Messenger of Allah, which contains all the positive values ??that humanity needs to build a world of peace, justice, solidarity and tolerance. We implore Allah for peace to return to Burkina Faso. Without peace, nothing can be done. All our blessings to the transitional authorities, who are fighting day and night for the return of peace. To the defense and security forces as well as the VDP, may God protect them. We invite the sons and daughters of Burkina to sacred union.
