The Secretary General of the North Kouilga region Albert Zongo representing the governor chaired Wednesday in Ouahigouya, the ceremony of the day of patriotic commitment where carrying out civic acts was at the center of the celebration.The ceremony was part of the 2nd phase of the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation. It was an opportunity to invite the sons and daughters of the Northern region to further cultivate patriotism for a real independence of our country. The constituted bodies of the Northern region composed of the defense and security forces, regional directors among others all responded present at the governorate this Wednesday, October 2 at 7:30 a.m. Led by the secretary general of the region, it is the hymn of victory sung in chorus followed by the reading of the message of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré by the authority which punctuated the ceremony.The objective is to arouse more patriotism through civic acts for the total independence and sover eignty of Burkina Faso.According to the message of the president read by the secretary general of the Kouilga region Albert Zongo, "on this historic day of October 2, I would like to recognize the sacrifices made by each Burkinabe. I recall my constantly renewed commitment to rebuilding the Burkinabe nation, strengthening social cohesion and rekindling the patriotic flame. I launch a solemn appeal to all customary and religious authorities to participate fully in these days through teachings and messages during the various worship services, the meaning and the need for each citizen to cultivate the authentic values ??of our homeland ."" To build a strong and sovereign Burkinabe nation, we must always have the spirit of patriotism and mobilize the popular masses at all times ," continued Mr. Zongo.The authorities have called on the populations of the region to clean up their living environments (healthcare structures, our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, etc.) and above all to be up to date with their t axes and continue to contribute to the peace effort because independence always has a price to pay.The regional director in charge of human rights, promotion of citizenship and peace Seydou Sourabié indicated that within the framework of these days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation several activities such as awareness sessions, radio competitions are on the program in the region and will begin from October 5.
