Zoundw©ogo Education Directorate Contributes Over One Million FCFA to Support Fund

Zoundw©ogo: The Provincial Directorate of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education in Zoundw©ogo has made a significant contribution to the Patriotic Support Fund (FSP), handing over a receipt for the sum of 1,081,790 FCFA to the province's secretary general, Haoua Ou©draogo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this contribution is part of a fundraising operation initiated in February to support the patriotic support fund and provide in-kind donations for internally displaced students in the province. Yves Placide Nana, the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education, highlighted that this effort has raised a substantial amount for the FSP.

Mr. Nana presented the payment receipt to Secretary General Haoua Ou©draogo during the flag-raising ceremony, which marked the provincial launch of Burkinabe heritage month. The contribution from the Zoundw©ogo Provincial Directorate and its Basic Education Districts (CEBs) is not their first. In April 2024, they had previously raised over 1,700,000 CFA francs, which were also deposited into the Patriotic Support Fund account at the Public Treasury.

Haoua Ou©draogo commended the province's education stakeholders for their commitment to the fund, encouraging other organizations and influential groups within the province to emulate their actions.
