Allons à Bobo Music Festival: A night of tribute dedicated to the fighting forces

The Allons à Bobo Music Festival (FEMABO) organized Thursday a night of tribute to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland ( VDP). FDS musical artists animated the musical stage.

The Allons à Bobo Music Festival (FEMABO) has been in full swing since Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in the city of Sya, at the Gana So space in the Belle ville district.

The second night of the festival was dedicated to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP).

To mark this evening of tribute with a white stone, artists kept the public spellbound by singing for the return of peace to Burkina Faso and the fight against the terrorist hydra that has bereaved the country since 2015.

They also paid a vibrant tribute to their colleagues who are at the front and to those who have fallen on the battlefield.

More than two hours on the clock, the artists followed one another to remind the public how our fighting forces give their lives on the ground for the Fatherland.

Among them, the gendarme Maréchal des Logis (MDL), Siogo Mardocher Privat Yad alias Privat. He resumed his song ''Sodaga'' where he expresses his pride in being a soldier, despite the difficulties.

Through song, Privat gives morale to his comrades in the theaters of operations. As a policeman, he said he participated in this fight like all the others.

This second edition of the Allons à Bobo Music Festival (FEMABO) began on Wednesday April 26th. It is placed under the patronage of Maître Yacouba Dembélé, Notary and Executive Director of the Center for the Popularization of Law and Access to Justice.

The co-sponsor is Moussa Dembélé, president of the Déni Dèmè association and of the Federation of cultural enterprises and events of Sya (FECESY).

Every evening until next Sunday, musical artists will compete in talent on the set to the delight of music lovers in Bobo.
