Balé/SNC 2023: The High Commissioner calls on citizens to be civic-minded and patriotic

Boromo, The High Commissioner of Bale Province Ibrahim Boly officially launched the activities of the National Citizenship Week in Boromo on Monday, October 23. The ceremony was marked by the raising of the national colors at the high commission in the presence of the established bodies.

The constituent bodies of the Balé province mobilized for the launch of the activities of the 20th edition of the national citizenship week on the morning of Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Boromo high commission.

The ceremony began with the raising of the national colors officiated by the Boromo military detachment in pure military tradition.

After the rise, all military and paramilitary bodies and civilians followed with great attention the message of the Head of State delivered by High Commissioner Ibrahim Boly.

Following this message, the authority invited the populations to take ownership of the objective of the national citizenship week dear to the government.

“Let us adopt the values of civic-mindedness, integrity and patriotism in our everyday behavior as a family as well as in our services,” said Mr. Boly.

High Commissioner Boly affirmed that these values are important in the ongoing reconquest of territory.

In the same sense, he instructed the provincial directors in charge of national education to encourage schools to carry out activities which will allow students to know the symbols and coat of arms of the republic but also to master the national anthem. and to participate in the various radio competitions on the theme of citizenship from October 23 to 30.

He also welcomed the strong mobilization around the activity.
