The Nigerien President, Brigadier General Abdourahame Tiani, presented Monday his condolences to Burkina Faso, following the deadly terrorist attack which affected the commune of Barsalgho in the Center-North on Saturday of the country.In a letter, General Tiani sent his sincere condolences and deep compassion to his counterpart Captain Ibrahim Traoré, to the government and people of Burkina Faso as well as to the bereaved families.'The Nigerien people are always in solidarity with the brotherly Burkinabè people in all the trials they are experiencing and their determination will not fail in our common struggle for true sovereignty and the integrated development of our AES Confederation,' added the head of the Nigerian State.Saturday in Barsalgho in north-central Burkina, terrorists fired indiscriminately on populations and FDS gathered for community work.Several losses of human life and numerous injuries were recorded.'The number of our Martyrs, instead of dampening our morale, only strengthens ou r unwavering determination to overcome the criminals and their sponsors who seek to hinder our inexorable march towards peace and progress within the space of the AES Confederation,' wrote President Tiani.The Nigerien head of state wished a speedy recovery to the injured and prayed for the rest of the souls of the missing.Source: Burkina Information Agency
