Bazèga: The ‘Faso, my homeland movement’ mobilizes populations to support the Transition

Kombissiri: The 'Faso Movement, my homeland' organized a popular meeting in support of the Transition, on Saturday March 16, 2024 in Kombissiri, during which they paid vibrant tribute to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) and launch a call for mobilization for citizen monitoring. For the president of the ''Faso, my homeland movement'' Honoré Samandoulgou, the current authorities of the country have been able to activate the real levers to begin the struggles for emancipation and affirmation of the sovereignty of the Burkinabè people. This is why, he continues, 'Our role as civil society must scrupulously consist of supporting the current dynamic for the success of the struggles of our people.' Gathered in the communal grounds, populations of all ages and all social classes called the 'Wayiyans', brandishing the flags of the member countries of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) and Russia, rallied to the High Commission of Bazèga where the provi ncial administrative authorities awaited them. After explaining the reasons for their approach to the authorities, the organizers delivered a message of support for the Transition to the High Commissioner of the Bazèga province, Téné Justine Kientega/ Ilboudo, surrounded by her collaborators. Kientega thanked the organizers for the approach taken. The organizers of the meeting launched an appeal to all the populations of Bazèga and the Burkinabè people for unity and mobilization of support for the defense and security forces (FDS) and volunteers for the defense of the homeland ( VDP) to whom they paid special tribute for the multiple successes achieved in the battles for the reconquest of the national territory.
