Bazèga: Two stores and equipment donated to two associations for the recycling of plastic waste and the production of shea butter

The Association of Women for the Sustainable Development of Agriculture AFeDA on Saturday officially handed over two stores and equipment to two associations to strengthen their plastic waste recycling and butter butter production activities. shea.

The Wend-Manegda Simplified Cooperative Society (SCOOPS) and the Association for Citizenship, Citizenship and Awareness (AS3C) are the two structures selected by the Association of Women for the Sustainable Development of Agriculture (AFeDA) to benefit two warehouses for storage and equipment.

This donation from AFeDA is part of the capacity building project for Bazèga women for the recycling of plastic waste and the production of shea butter.

Indeed, the AS3C is involved in the treatment and recycling of plastic waste and the SCOOPS Wend-Manegda is involved in the production of organic shea butter.

The handover of the two stores for storage and equipment consisting of an electric churn, an electric filter, an electric paver and molds acquired with funding from the Australian government worth 24 million francs CFA, will allow the 2 beneficiary associations to strengthen their activities.

According to Ms. Gisèle Nongana/Yaméogo, Secretary in charge of external relations at the AFeDA, the choice of these two associative structures is partly due to their dynamism.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, the president of SCOOPS Wend-Manegda, Mrs. Fatimata Ouédraogo expressed her gratitude to AFeDA and the Australian government.

According to her, the infrastructures and equipment received will allow them to increase their production.
