Building: Tunisia participates in 14th ‘LibyaBuild’ exhibition, from October 2 to 5, in Benghazi

Tunisia is participating in the 14th edition of the International Building, Construction and Public Works Exhibition "LibyaBuild", from October 2 to 5 in Benghazi, Libya. This exhibition, which attended by representatives from 8 countries including Egypt, Turkey and France, is a major event for the building, architecture, engineering, construction and public works sectors as well as interior design and decoration, reads a statement of CEPEX. Through a pavilion with an area of 12m2, Tunisia's participation is meant to raise awareness of the potential of Tunisian companies operating in the construction sector and learn about scheduled projects in Eastern Libya, within the framework of the Fund reconstruction of the cities of Benghazi and Derna. The new edition of "LibyaBuild" coincides with the organisation of two other exhibitions: "Pharma Libya" and the Restaurant and the Food Show. The volume of trade between Tunisia and Libya amounted to 2.3 billion dinars during the first eight months of 2023, up 18.5% compared to the same period of 2022. The various industries sector accounts for almost 40% of total Tunisian exports to Libya, namely cement (worth 183 million dinars), metal and steel products (171 MD), ceramic products (39 MD), at the end of August 2023.
