A citizen left with his contribution to the peace effort due to lack of payment slip, reports the daily Sidwaya of Wednesday July 10, 2024The Burkinabe public newspaper Sidwaya reports that on Friday July 5, 2024 in Ouagadougou, a citizen left dissatisfied for not having been able to pay his contribution to the peace effort due to lack of a payment slip in a tax service in Ouagadougou.Having come on behalf of an associative structure to pay a cash contribution for the peace effort, the citizen was ultimately unable to make the payment.The cause, arriving around 2 p.m., he was made to understand that two counters were specifically assigned to the collection of funds for the peace effort. Due to the lack of a payment slip at the level of the two funds, the 'poor' citizen was forced to return with the money from his association which was nevertheless intended to support the war.As a reminder, the Burkinabe government called on citizens to make a patriotic contribution to support certain expenses in the f ight against terrorism, in particular support for Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland and the acquisition of military equipment.Source: Burkina Information Agency
