Vietnam has become the fastest growing country in the world in terms of the number of millionaires. This is what emerges from a report presented by the Swiss company Henley and Partners and the South African company New World Wealth, excerpts of which are cited by the VnExpress information portal.Between 2013 and 2023, the number of Vietnamese millionaires doubled to 19,400, the fastest growth rate in the world, according to the report. The country also has 58 millionaires, with assets of $100 million or more. In terms of growth rate of high net worth individuals, Vietnam is followed by China, with an increase of 92% during the period under review, Mauritius (87%) and India (85%).The report also states that Vietnam will experience a 125% increase in wealth over the next ten years, which will be the highest growth rate in the world.According to the influential American magazine Forbes, Vietnam has six billionaires who appear on the list of the richest people on the planet.
