Greeting all the people who contributed to the creation of monuments in Burkina Faso and all the managers of the country's places of memory, the Minister of State, Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Jean Emmanue l Ouédraogo, hopes that the ICOMOS National Committee will invest more in the animation of Burkinabè Heritage Month and support the efforts of public and private structures during the various visit programs. According to the President of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), Mr. Nangao Bély Hermann Abdoul Karim, the objective sought through heritage month is to mobilize as many compatriots as possible around monuments and sites in our country and for ICOMOS. .
