Burkina: Launch of a platform to connect qualified workers with busy customers

Ouagadougou: The Select Technologie company launched the 'Welman' application on Saturday, aiming to urgently connect qualified workers and customers requesting nearly 50 services, notably in mechanics, IT, in air conditioning and building. For its promoter, Abdoul Aziz Yanogo, this platform aims to facilitate the repair of emergency breakdowns thanks to its network of qualified workers. 'Welman offers an innovative solution by connecting users to the nearest competent troubleshooters and technicians, enabling rapid response to urgent needs,' explained Mr. Yanogo. He added that Welman is a secure platform that already has around fifty workers. 'We are doing everything we can to minimize the risks linked to cybercrime and guarantee a safe and positive experience for our users,' reassured Abdoul Aziz Yanogo. According to Mr. Yanogo, it is an opportunity for young qualified workers looking for employment. According to him, Welman aims to make a positive contribution by providing work opportunities for craf tsmen and building technicians. He invites workers to demonstrate professionalism and to aim only for customer satisfaction. 'My dear workers, I urge you to work with exemplary professionalism, to put forward the interest and satisfaction of our customers,' said Abdoul Aziz Yanogo. Only at this price, he continues, will Welman be able to build strong and lasting relationships and build a network of loyal and committed customers in order to reach new heights. He emphasized that workers are chosen based on rigorous criteria and proven professionalism. 'Welman has implemented a prospecting and verification process for professionals registered on our platform, to guarantee the quality and integrity of our network of convenience stores,' he insists. It asks users to provide feedback on the platform after the worker's performance in order to enable continuous improvement of Welman's services. Access to the platform is free for users and paying for workers, who have the option of subscribing for 7,200 FCFA pe r year or 3,600 FCFA for six months. Welman is an abbreviation of the Moore term 'Wend la manegda'. It offers 48 services divided into 12 categories and takes into account all sectors of construction and public works and aims to conquer the entire national territory and beyond. Welman app is available on Playstore. The sponsor, Aboubacar Ouédraogo, welcomed the project and said he was convinced of its success. He invites the Burkinabè to take ownership of this platform in order, he concludes, to facilitate their daily lives and propel the economic and social development of the country.
