Burkina: Minister Bassolma Bazié calls on workers to support the Transition

Ouagadougou: The Minister in charge of Labor and Social Protection, Bassolma Bazié, called on all socio-professional layers to support the Burkinabè Transition for true sovereignty of the country, in a message made public this Tuesday. According to the Minister of Civil Service, Labor and Social Protection Bassolma Bazié, the country which has been prey to terrorist attacks since 2015 is waging a war of liberation. Mr. Bassolma, also Minister of State, specified that to face all of the common challenges, more commitment, determination, solidarity and a spirit of sacrifice are needed. 'I invite all socio-professional layers to organize themselves solidly and consciously around the leaders of the Transition, in order to face any threat to our existence wherever it comes from. It is in this and only that our salvation will lie,' he said to the workers. According to him, the sacred union of sons and daughters remains essential to counter the spirit of recolonization of the country. The minister recalled that expectations are still enormous but many achievements have been made thanks to the multiple sacrifices of the Burkinabè people. Concerning expectations, the first head of the department in charge of Civil Service noted, among other things, the total liberation of the national territory, the continuation of the resettlement of populations, the reopening of schools and health centers. The continued equipping of the Fighting Forces, the achievement of food self-sufficiency, the rereading of the law on agrarian and land reform to stop and resolve land conflicts, were also mentioned by Bassolma Bazié. The Minister of State also noted that living and dynamic solidarity in the countries of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) between all working forces constitutes a necessity for social promotion and living together.
