The authorities of Burkina Faso are preparing for the creation of a high authority for the coordination of diplomatic action (HACAD) to strengthen their capacities to promote and defend the interests of Burkina Faso in the world, reports the communications services of the ministry in charge of diplomacy. A workshop of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabè Abroad which ends on Thursday in Ouagadougou examined the draft decree creating the High Authority for the Coordination of Diplomatic Action (HACAD), explains the communications department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is 'imperative to have a high-level executive around the Head of State, responsible for the coordination and coherence of our country's diplomatic action,' underlined Dieudonné Désiré Sougouri, chief of staff of the ministry.
