Burkina: The bilingual school complex “Les Pionniers” rewards its best students

On the occasion of its closing ceremony for the 2022-2023 school year, the bilingual school complex ''Les Pionniers'' organized this Saturday, in Ouagadougou, a day of excellence to reward its best students admitted to the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and the three best students in each class.

According to the founder of the school complex ''The Pioneers'', El hadj Boukaré Sawadogo, the closing ceremony is an opportunity for them to commemorate the exit of the 10th promotion of students from their school which is a bilingual school .

"That is to say that we have the classic CEP in French and the bilingual CEP which is said to be unified, which is recognized by the Burkinabé State", he said.

Mr. Sawadogo indicated that for the exams of the 2022-2023 school year, they obtained a success rate of 83.33% for the national classic CEP in French and a rate of 100% for the unified bilingual CEP recognized by the 'State.

El hadj Sawadogo noted that his establishment has achieved a "very satisfactory" assessment of the 2022-2023 school year. He urged the students to do better in the coming years and hoped for the return of peace so that we can live in unity and fraternity.

Special prizes were awarded to the youngest and best pupils, to the ''cleanest and most disciplined'' pupils of the establishment.

The sponsor of the ceremony, Ali Ouédraogo declared that this initiative of El hadj Boukaré Sawadogo is “really very good because it motivates the students”.

“The satisfaction I have today with my young children is that they have the chance to do both. That is to say French and Arabic because it allows the child to have two chances,” he added.

Mr. Ouédraogo concluded in these terms: "Our advice to these children is to tell them to work at school and to be our great Muslims, our great doctors one day because we need them today to change things up a bit. They are the next generation”.

Ilboudo Djawarata, admitted to the primary school certificate (CEP), expressed his joy. "I am very happy, because I am good at school and I worked hard to receive these gifts". She received a bicycle, an envelope and other kits.

The Bilingual School Complex Les Pionniers was created in October 2008. The school opened its doors with 3 classes and 10 students and today it has 6 classes and 166 students.
