Burkina: President Ibrahim Traoré signed this Wednesday, the decree of general mobilization and warning, for a period of twelve months, with a view to defending the integrity of the national territory, restoring security throughout the territory and to ensure the protection of populations and their property against terrorist threats and actions.
Article 5: Are concerned by this general mobilization: members of the defense and security forces; members of the defense and security forces in a position of non-activity; young people aged 18 or over, not members of the national armed forces, physically fit, called upon to enlist according to the needs expressed by the competent authorities.
Article 6: During the general mobilization and the warning, the populations can also organize themselves, under the supervision of the defense and security forces to defend their locality against all forms of threats, in particular terrorist groups, in accordance with the texts in force. vigor.
