Burkina: The head of diplomacy signs a memorandum of understanding to facilitate the export of Venezuelan petroleum products

Ouagadougou: The Minister in charge of Foreign Affairs of Burkina and that of Venezuelan Oil, proceeded on February 6, to the signing of a memorandum of understanding relating to the export of Venezuelan petroleum products to the country of Men of integrity.

‘The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabè Abroad and the Venezuelan Minister of Oil, proceeded on the evening of February 6, to the signing of a memorandum of understanding relating to the export of Venezuelan petroleum products to the country of honest men, ‘ reports a diplomatic source.

This signing of the memorandum of understanding took place on the sidelines of the joint cooperation commission between Burkina Faso and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

‘This memorandum of understanding opens the way to Burkina Faso for the importation of petroleum products from Venezuela,’ adds the document.

This will result in a partnership which will be sealed between the Burkinabè National Hydrocarbons Company (SONABHY), and the c
ompany called Petrole du Venezuela (PDV-SA), specifies the same source.

After signing the memorandum of understanding on petroleum products, Burkinabe technicians will have to meet those of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, to present the quantities and specifications of Burkina Faso’s needs in terms of hydrocarbons.

This act taken by Ministers Karamoko Jean Marie TRAORE and Rafael Tellechia, is the realization of a negotiation started last June in Caracas by the Minister in charge of trade, concluded the note.
