Under the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene, the Council adopted a decree relating to the methods of financial coverage of the treatment of cancers by radiotherapy in Burkina Faso.
Three categories of patients have been identified according to the Minister of Health, Robert Lucien Jean Claude KARGOUGOU.
The first relates to patients with health insurance for whom the insurance pays.
The second concerns female cancers, cancers in children under 15, prostate cancers and indigent people who are 100% covered by the State, and finally the third category made up of all the others for whom the supported by the state is 70%.
