Burkina: WFP offers a batch of materials to the Permanent Secretariat for the presidential initiative

The World Food Program (WFP) yesterday Wednesday handed over equipment consisting of a vehicle and 5 laptops to the Permanent Secretariat of the Presidential Initiative (SP/IP) in the dynamic of 'Ensure each child of school age at least one balanced meal per day.' The batch of materials handed over to the Permanent Secretariat of the presidential initiative 'Ensuring each child of school age at least one balanced meal per day' consists of a 4×4 type vehicle, 5 laptop computers, worth total of 35,428,585 FCA. 'This donation is support for the coordination of the SP/IP to strengthen and support the monitoring and coordination function of the activities of this Presidential Initiative,' indicated the country director representing WFP in Burkina Faso, Elvira Pruscin. This donation will contribute to strengthening the capacities of the SP/IP, rejoiced the representative of the Secretary General of the Prime Minister, Rosalie Compaore/Naré. Ms. Compaoré maintained that it is part of the sustainability of the mu ltiple interventions of the WFP, in favor of the improvement of indicators of the education system, food and nutritional security as well as the reduction of poverty 'within our populations' . The permanent secretary of the SP/IP, Alice Sidibé, for her part, expressed her satisfaction with the support of the PAM, which demonstrates the institution's commitment to supporting the Presidential initiative.
