CAN 2023: Adama Guira forfeits the rest of the competition

Bouaké: The defensive midfielder of the Stallions of Burkina Faso, Adama Guira, has been withdrawn from the rest of the African Cup of Nations (CAN), announced the Burkinabè Football Federation (FBF). 'Released due to injury during the game against Algeria, Adama Guira suffered a rupture of the Achilles tendon ligament in his left foot.
