CAN 2023: Tanzania coach suspended for 8 matches and fined USD 10,000

Bouaké: The coach of the Tanzanian national team, Adel Amrouche, 'guilty of having brought discredit to CAF', has been suspended for 8 matches, announced the African Confederation of football (CAF). 'The CAF Disciplinary Jury has found the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) and its national team coach, Adel Amrouche, guilty of bringing CAF into disrepute following comments and allegations made in the media about the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF),' announced the CAF communications service. The press release continues that 'under articles 82, 83, 84 and 131 of the CAF Disciplinary Code, the Disciplinary Jury decided to impose an eight-match suspension on Mr. Amrouche.
