The Moroccan women's beach volleyball team qualified for the finals of the 2nd African Beach Games (JAP-Hammamet), after defeating their Mauritian counterpart 2- 0 (21-11, 21-14) . The Moroccans will play in the finals the winners of the game between Tunisia and Mozambique which is currently being taking place.

Tunisia's Yassine Sahli failed to qualify to the final of the TeqBall tournament, after conceding defeat to Cameroon's Gregory Dylan Tchambi in two sets (12-8, 12-9). Cameroon will take on Nigeria in the final to be played on Monday. Tunisia will take on Ghana for the bronze medal on Monday.

Mali's handball team defeated Algeria's in shootout 7-3 after making a 1-1 draw, at an African Beach Games (JAP) women's handball tournament day-2 game, played on Sunday. Five countries are partaking in this mini-tournament, namely Tunisia, Algeria, Kenya, Uganda and Mali.

Tunisia's volleyball team qualified on Sunday for the semi-final of the African Beach Games (JAP) men's volleyball tournament, after defeating Mozambique 2-0 (21-16, 21-17). Tunisia will take on Algeria in the semi-final. Algeria and Morocco secured a direct qualification, after finishing first in their respective groups.

Morocco's beach handball team qualified for the semi-finals of the 2023 African Beach Games men's handball tournament after beating Libya's 8-7 on penalties, following a 1-1 draw (16-17, 20-10) on Sunday in the third round of Group A matches. It was Morocco's third victory, following wins over Mali and Zambia.

Tunisia's Yassine Sahli qualified for the semi-final of the 2023 African Beach Games (JAP) TeqBall tournament, after defeating Cape Verde's Sidnei Silva in 2-1 (9-12, 12-3, 12-7). Sahli will take on Cameroon's Gregory Dylan Tchami in the semi-final. The other semi-final game will pit Ghana against Nigeria. The final and placement game will be held on Monday.

Tunisia's Yassine Sahli qualified on Sunday for the quarter final of the TeqBall tournament in the 2023 African Beach Games (JAP), after defeating Malagasy Andry Nambinintsoa Rakotondrabe 2-0 (12-4, 12-4). This is Tunisia's second victory, after defeating Mali. Tunisia are taking on Cape Verde in the quarter final to be played on Sunday. Algeria's beach handball team defeated Kenya's 2-0 (22-12, 18-10) at an African Beach Games (JAP) Group B day-2 game, played Sunday. Algeria had conceded defeat to Tunisia (0-2). As such, Algeria and Tunisia qualified for the semi-final. Group B includes Tunisia, Algeria and Kenya. Morocco, Zambia, Mali and Libya play in Group A.

Tunisia's beach volleyball team secured their 3rd win in the 2023 African Beach Games (JAP) women's beach volleyball tournament, after beating Mauritius' 2-1 (21-15, 12-21, 15-13) on Sunday. Tunisia had defeated Nigeria's 2-0 on Saturday, before the withdrawal of the latter.
