The Tunisian Navigation Company (French : CTN) is maintaining its market share, said CEO Farhat Zaouaghi, and generated nearly TND 224 million in revenues in 2023. The 2023 season was successful, Zaoughi told an Assembly of People's Representatives Committee on Tourism hearing on Wesdnesday, as there were no complaints from Tunisian expatriates - 95% of the overall number of passengers- in spite of poor resources and an old fleet. The company seeks though to renew its fleet, the CEO further said. Exceptional measures were announced for the summer season, including a passenger capacity of 402,936. This in addition to 147 crossings on the routes of Marseille and Genoa, including nine through the port of Zarzis.
