President of the Republic, Kais Saied, Friday, decided to terminate the duties of the CEO of the Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (STEG) Hichem Anane and appoint Fayçal Trifa as his successor, according to a statement of the Presidency of the Republic.
Tunisia was hit by a rare nationwide power blackout early on Wednesday, September 20.
