Faso Mebo Receives Construction Material Donation from Association of American Army Servicemen from Burkina Faso

Ouagadougou: The Association of American Army Servicemen and Former Servicemen from Burkina Faso has donated 40 tons of granite and 75 tons of sand to the presidential initiative Faso Mebo. This donation, valued at approximately one million CFA francs, aims to contribute to national construction efforts.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Association's initiative responds to a call for contributions from the nation's highest authorities. Kalifa Romuald Dao, Secretary General of the Association, emphasized the desire to support the presidential initiative by making this contribution. He highlighted the enthusiasm and commitment of the population in supporting Faso Mebo.

The Association encouraged all Burkinabe, regardless of their location, to back the initiatives of President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore. Dao expressed hope that others would follow this example to aid in the nation's development.

Beyond the material donation, Association members also contributed to the creation of paving stones at the Faso Mebo site. Established in 2022, the Association, which consists of 38 members, has previously supported initiatives such as collecting food for the town of Djibo.
