An authorised source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad has confirmed to TAP the decision to terminate the duties of Tunisian ambassador Mohamed Karim Jammoussi and consul general in Paris Ridha Gharsallaoui. This decision, which comes within the framework of the annual reshuffle of the heads of diplomatic and consular missions, is aimed at injecting new dynamism into diplomatic action, the same source added. Jamoussi was appointed Tunisian Ambassador to Paris on September 12, 2020, while Gharsallaoui was appointed Consul General of Tunisia in Paris by presidential decree on December 5, 2021.
