Ganzourgou: The special municipal delegation of Zorgho holds its first ordinary session of 2024

_: The president of the special municipal delegation of Zorgho, Valentin Badolo, chaired the first ordinary session of the said delegation on March 26, 2024, in Zorgho. The session was marked by active participation from members, highlighting the importance of the topics discussed. The agenda included several items, including the reading, amendment and adoption of the minutes of previous sessions, as well as the examination and adoption of the administrative and management accounts for the year 2023. In addition, reports were presented, notably that of the Economic and Financial Affairs Committee, as well as that of the authorizing officer. The deliberations were at the heart of the discussions, with key points such as the cancellation of a previous deliberation concerning a tax on the removal of aggregates by tricycles, the issuance of an approval relating to this activity, and the establishment of a weekly tax for this purpose. The transfer authorization for exploitation of the frontage of the Zorgho rest area, as well as that for the resumption of development work on the Zorgho workforce city, were also examined. In addition, in view of the difficulties in completing the construction of the conference room of the Zorgho town hall, a re-evaluation study of its estimate was authorized, underlining the commitment of the special delegation towards the development and improvement local infrastructure. During this session, the regional coordinator of the Agency for the Promotion of Community Entrepreneurship (APEC) of the central plateau, Souleymane Ouédraogo presented the structure to the members of the special delegation. He highlighted the evolution of APEC since its creation, highlighting its achievements and its impact on the entrepreneurial community.
