Garrison of Pô: 546 recruits presented to the flag

By this act, the 546 soldiers wear the epaulette of private 2nd class . For the commander of the Commando Training Center and Special Operations Training (CEC-FOS), Captain Patrick A. Bado, this ceremony is an honor for him and his men in the sense that it puts to the benefit of the Armed Forces nationals, the very first promotion of recruits from the centre.

He praised the command for the confidence placed in the Center to ensure the initial military training of these young recruits despite their multiple tasks. He indicated that these soldiers are fit to face the current threat.

The commander of the 3 rd military region, Lieutenant-Colonel Rachid Ouédraogo, who presided over the ceremony on behalf of the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, congratulated the monitors of the (CEC-FOS) who did not spared no effort to instill military values in these young recruits. Colonel Ouédraogo took the opportunity to ask the customary and religious authorities present at the ceremony to accompany the fighting forces engaged in the theaters of operations, with prayers and blessings.

It should be noted that the Center received a staff of 587 at the start, Six (06) gave up from the first phase, two (02) were struck off following morality investigations, One (01) unfortunately died and thirty-two ( 32) unable to follow the second stage. Only the 546 were able to follow the entire training.
