The National Organizing Committee (CNO) of the 21st edition of the National Culture Week (SNC) organized a press conference, Wednesday March 6, 2024 in Bobo-Dioulasso, to unveil to media people the actions undertaken and the innovations brought to this cultural biennial.The 21st edition of National Culture Week (SNC) will take place from April 27 to May 4, 2024 in Bobo-Dioulasso, under the theme: 'Culture, historical memory and patriotic surge for a new Burkina'.The organizers of the event are pulling out all the stops for the success of this cultural biennial which is being held in a difficult security, socio-economic and humanitarian context.After its installation on Tuesday March 5, 2024 in Bobo-Dioulasso, the National Organizing Committee (CNO) held a press conference the next day to unveil the actions undertaken so far and the arrangements made for the success of the event. .According to its president, Betamou Fidèle Aymar Tamini, the NOC, immediately installed, undertook a series of contacts, an d also developed a communication plan and an artistic platform based on the mobilization of 1,614 artists against 1,385 in the 20th edition.Other initiatives such as the mobilization of competing artists, the rereading of internal regulations, the identification of artist accommodation sites and sites for holding major activities have already been implemented.Innovations, according to President Fidèle Tamini, have been introduced at the level of certain commissions and official juries.'It must be remembered that the final objective of the NOC is to make this National Culture Week as successful as possible, despite the difficult security context.
