Guiriko: Sergeant Wendwaogo Daniel KABORE of the Hôrônya Anti-Terrorist and Campaign Special Forces Group (FORSATEC Hôrônya) was a guest speaker at the Faso Mebo Holiday Camp in Guiriko. Sergeant KABORE, who has been injured in action, shared his field experiences with the campers, emphasizing the importance of patriotism and mobilization to defend the Fatherland.According to Burkina Information Agency, the sergeant recounted his participation in numerous security missions. He highlighted the challenges faced in dangerous theaters of operations, and the sacrifices made by his fallen comrades while defending the homeland. Despite the constant risk, Sergeant KABORE expressed his unwavering commitment to his country.In August, during a high-risk mission in the East, Sergeant KABORE sustained a gunshot wound to his left arm and was evacuated to Ouagadougou. While recovering, he assured the campers of his determination to rejoin his colleagues at the front soon. "I can't be at peace in the city when I know my comrades are at the front defending the Fatherland," he stated, demonstrating his devotion to his country.Sergeant KABORE encouraged the campers to develop values such as solidarity, civic-mindedness, and self-sacrifice for the Fatherland. During the camp, participants also engaged in training modules covering military training, civic and moral education, and paving stone making.
