The Independent Local Election Authority (IRIE) in Jendouba said it is ready for the December 24 local elections.IRIE employees are mobilised to ensure the smooth running of this event, said IRIE President Sabeh Mechrgui.For their part, representatives of the local and regional authorities on Monday voiced commitment to assist IRIE employees and ensure the transport of the election material to the various polling stations.Jendouba Governor Samir Kouka called on all those involved to provide the necessary resources for the smooth organisation of this event while respecting the principle of neutrality and the voters' wishes.
