Justice: launch of eSignature project

Minister of Justice, Leila Jeffel, on Friday, launched the electronic signature project that fits into the 2023-2025 sectoral development plan for the justice and penitentiary system.

The use of eSignature is now authorised in all courts and administrations under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice.

According to a press release from the Ministry, Jeffel ordered that the electronic signature be included in the 'jShare' digital platform, which is used to facilitate the exchange of documents between the courts and partners in the judiciary.

She added that this project will make it possible to sign documents online in a secure and legal manner, and to move towards a digital justice system that meets the needs of the judiciary.

This project is part of the Programme to Support Justice Reform (PARJ).
